my new maid came just after cny.. her name's rumini, she's really nice, we get along quite well.. haha. and she's sleeping in my room, so my bed got shifted to the corner.. i kinda like that position, i could put my toys and pillows against the wall.. and clem says it looks cosy. more imptly, piggy will never have to take suicide plunges every night alr. hahaa.. 'suicide' is questionable, cuz clem says the bed can only fit one pig, so i'd kick him off. (hmm, i dont think so..)
met up with the nutties a few days back for our reunion dinner=) nic, car, dana, and haz-everyone turned up except for kass, who's in Boston now.. lucky girl! we were initially supposed to meet at orchard for sushi.. but eventually settled for manhattan fish market at clarke quay, in case we wanted to go fer some nite activity=D anway, we finally caught up with one another.. i really loved that great company! 3 cheers to our 6 years of friendship=) since it was ladies' nite, we went for our nite activity.. met up with some of carena's bball friends.. kim, jiesheng, earnest, and boker(joycelin)! i haven't met her since like the last mahjong session at her place in december.. went to mos, then jie ming and her friend came to join us.. good to see all of them again=) and lol, in the middle of somewhere, i saw someone that looked pretty familiar.. but i wasn't too sure coz it was dark and i didnt expect her to be there! i got a little curious, but was afraid to approach her until something convinced me. something that she did. hahaha.. she started laughing hysterically.. and the way that she laughed gave her away! i was seriously laughing out loud when i saw her laugh! it was joycelyn, and two other friends, one of which was jacqueline, from aj during first 3 months! we used to take the same bus to sch almost every morning and sometimes home, and hang out at the canteen.. and in the mornings, we were always frantically looking at the time.. hoping we cld just fly to sch so we won't be late.. it's been too long since we caught up with each other during some geog talk at nus.. and so it was quite an eventful night..

that week was clem's field camp.. and that week was also valentine's week=( went out with meiying and her bro to buy stuff for v day.. the thing that her bro bought to make his gift was really exxxx man.. i think he got a shock, but still bought it anyway.. some things may not look ex, but it may not be what it seems man., plus u can nvr imagine the amt of effort put into it. we went to eat ice monster aft that.. it was yummy! we(well at least I) didnt want to go hm so early, so we went up to the arcade,but it was closing.. so the token changer was closed. but i think out of pity or whatever, some guy gave us a token.. so we just took it to play photohunt..lol.. until the whole thing blacked out=Z ugh..

then it was my jap exam on friday.. didnt prepare at all th0ugh.. didnt really have the time to.. but i guess i should have memorized my vocab.. it was multiple choice.. short questions, compre and listening.. the listening part was hilarious..haha. the answers were quite obvious and the wrong answers sounded dumb, so everyone started laughing.. i got a 72 in total. haha, it's not very good though.. the next class is starting next monday. still taking full-time.=)

that week i started looking for my guitar alr.. my friend brought me to a couple of shops at paradiz and parklane.. but didnt really see anything that i liked. i wanted darker colours=) then on saturday clem and i went to ossia(formally known as cristofori) music school to check out the guitars there.. coincidentally their new stock arrived that day, so i guess i'll be gg back there to check them out this weekend? might wanna try bras besah plaza also.. my friend recommended this shop there.. i'm damn excited! need to get it soon.. before my class starts! went to watch kungfu dunk that day.. it turned out to be quite ok lar.. though a bit too exaggerated, lol. not as bad as i thought..
was supposed to either go kayaking or climb bukit timah hill with clem the next day.. lol. dunno why his sudden interest to climb that hill.. but didnt have time fer kayaking in the end. plus my grandma suddenly got hospitalized, so i decided to stay home that day, in case something serious happens and we needed to be there..
went to visit her on tuesday. thankfully the fever had gone down.. she was on drip. but still looked cheerful. it's really unfortunate though, that she couldnt remember most of us aft she had dementia.. whenever i see her, i'd think of my childhood.. the past.. she used to come over to our hse every now and then.. and buy us toys=D i miss her cooking too.. i guess we'll nvr be able to try it again. bleh.. please God, let her be healthy for as long as possible..
last night's dinner was a good one=), at a restaurant at carlton hotel. it was a dinner to celebrate the completion of a major project the company was involved in.. the ppl invited were my mom's clients, all of them are nihon-jin..(Japanese). the food was fantastic. can't elaborate more.. but my dad said that he expected better out of something he paid 3000 bucks for. o.m.g lar.. out of curiosity, i asked my dad that if given a choice, what wld he pick: the money or the food. he said food! i don't understand why! maybe it's not everyday that we celebrate the success of a big project. oh well..
okay.. shall stop here. anw, today's chu shi wu.. which is the last day of the cny. which marks the end of the festive season.. bleh. but! we get to eat tang yuan today ;) love the ones with red bean!><
